Seven consecutive quarters of outperformance underscore C.H. Robinson’s disciplined execution and leadership in Lean AI supply chains.
For years, logistics has been viewed as a sector waiting to be disrupted. Tech startups have circled the industry, armed with sleek interfaces and lofty promises. But they’ve underestimated the complexity of this space—and overestimated their ability to transform it from the outside.
With the 2025 holiday shipping season in full swing, small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) across North America are navigating rising uncertainty. In this kind of environment, every logistics decision—and every transportation dollar—carries more weight.

At a time when many of C.H. “Truckload and expedited ground networks can absorb some displaced volume, but not without challenges given that short-term surges drive spot rate volatility and equipment repositioning,” said Mike Short, president of Global Forwarding at C.H. Robinson, noting that C.H. Robinson is also analyzing customers’ inventory to determine how existing stock can be used to plug potential gaps.
